We’ve just recently completed another NetSuite e-commerce assignment. This time it was for Carina Sherlock a furnishing company based in Melbourne with strong links to Bali. Carina Sherlock has some great examples of furniture influence by Indonesian culture and craftmanship.

From our perspective we took their existing information only web site and gave it a little bit of refresh retaining the branding and adding some nice touches. More importantly the project was to bring Carina Sherlock online so that clients could add accessories via the online shop. However, we still had to display all items and balance their online requirements with those of their major retailers. So for all the large items there are no prices displayed and instead the consumer is referred to their nearest store. In this way smaller items are accessible and can be purchased whilst the retailers can still offer the larger items without any online competition from their wholesaler. A perfect combination.
